Pinboard Blockquotes
A tiny Pinboard tip: you can use the
<blockquote>tag in the ‘description’ textarea and Pinboard will style it appropriately. See this bookmark, for example. It makes Pinboard pages much more readable, and doubtless comes in handy if you’re posting from Pinboard to a weblog using ifttt or similar.

Paying for something
I shared a blog post by Pinboard’s author Maciej Ceglowski. In one sentence hi says this: if you want to use a web service for a while you must use a one you have to pay for.
I agree. I am a Pinboard user. I paid for it 9 and something dollars. Never regretted.
I am supporting Marco Arment and Instapaper by paying some fee evert three months. What is the result of it? I think a fantastic iOS app. Search option of saved articles. And hopefully, a long term service.
There are some very good blogs. And hackers.
The first hacker I will mention is Brett Terpstra. He is the author of nvALT, a Notational Velocity alternative (yes, I’m using with. With a Simplenote account, you get a fantastic tool for notes).
He is also a big fan of Pinboard (like me). If you want search your Pinboard bookmarks with Spotlight, you must read this post.
Delicious acquired
But I will stick with Pinboard. It is simple, get very good and interesting links.
But I will keep Delicious on my eye.
