What to do with your pop-up flash
Here is the thing: you own a DSLR that has a pop-up flash.
Is that a good flash? For a quick answer, probably not.
But where this flash is good at, is fill flash. Try it. Your are in the sun and your subject’s face is in shadow. Now pop up your flash on your DSLR and make a picture.
I hope the face is nicely exposed.
Photography tip #2
Shoot in RAW. Unless you have some big reason not to do so. Or you have no time to edit your photos.
Photography tip #1
Image review: it’s a feature that shows you the picture on your display right after you shot it. Until recently I though it is a pro-body option. Then I saw it on a Nikon D80 (I own a D90). Somebody didn’t read the whole manual. You, too?
How to enable this option: Press the Menu button, the Image Review option is under Playback Menu (the first tab on the left).
Nikon announced Nikkor AF-S 50mm 1.8G
I hope the next announcement from Nikon will be Nikon D800 (or something like that).
Ordered Nikon SB-600
Yep, it is ordered.
