Sparrow for iPhone

Yes, I’m a big fan of Sparrow. It is my default Mail client on the iMac. And it will the default mail client on the iPhone.

Biggest disadvantage? Push isn’t supported. I hope they will clear the things with Apple to support push.

But for now, Sparrow for iPhone is worth the money.

Federico Viticci wrote a great review.

iPad 3

I will be running for the iPad 3.

Why did I not buy iPad 2? The answer is on the hand: it hasn’t a retina display.

Look, I have an iPhone 4 with retina display. How would it look like changing between a gadget with and a gadget without retina display? You can’t do that to your eyes.

And I won’t replace my current iPhone any time soon. It doesn’t matter what specs will iPhone 5 have.

Flipboard

Flipboard for iPhone was released today (and iPod; it is an universal app now). It’s a big thing, especially for those who don’t own an iPad. I have to create a Flipboard account.

Paying for something

I shared a blog post by Pinboard’s author Maciej Ceglowski. In one sentence hi says this: if you want to use a web service for a while you must use a one you have to pay for.

I agree. I am a Pinboard user. I paid for it 9 and something dollars. Never regretted.

I am supporting Marco Arment and Instapaper by paying some fee evert three months. What is the result of it? I think a fantastic iOS app. Search option of saved articles. And hopefully, a long term service.

wunderlist

I started using wunderlist on both my iMac in iPhone. I miss one big feature: repeating tasks. I really hope we will see this feature soon.

But for now I’m using iCal for repeating tasks - reminders for paying the bills.

Alien Blue, a Reddit iPhone app

I never new it exists until today. I bought iReddit in the first place and didn’t bother myself looking for a new Reddit app.

Looks promising.

Posterous for iPhone

So here it is, the Posterous app for iPhone. It took long.

I am writing this with the Posterous app and it is fun. I am not typing as fast as on my iMac’s keyboard but it is not that bad.

The first impression is good.

I recommend an another app: my6sense. Look for it, runs on iPhone and Android.

I won’t make any predictions but hope Apple will enable “multitasking”.
